Why do we choose to hate

Lately we’ve seen on the news hate crimes. WHY must we choose to hate one another no matter how different we are? Is there an answer for that? If we looked past the difference of people’s skin or how they act do you think we could change? Recently in Overland Park Ks, a man targeted a Jewish Community Center and killed three people. He was part of the KKK in the past and he has continued to hate those who have different faiths or traditions. Is that what we want to teach our kids that it’s okay to target those who are different? You make speak a different language, come from another country, have a disability or you may even act different but hey what does it matter. Someone may not like you so they are going to target you because you’re not like them. If we’d valued our self maybe there would be less hate in the world. But let’s stop and think for a minute there is that saying “Karma’s a B**tch” well that can be true but we need to stop and think before acting. How are we going to decide what to teach the next generation when all you see is violence and war?
